2010 San Francisco Giants Autographed World Series Baseball

Remember the 2010 World Series? Remember the skinny kid with the weird haircut who baffled some of the games best hitters? How about the guy with the huge black beard who ended up being the best relief man in the bigs that year? 2010 was the year that one of the most interesting teams in the modern baseball era hijacked the National League Playoffs. Then the 2010 San Francisco Giants did what no other Giants team had done since moving from New York in 1958, they won the World Series.

At the beginning of the season not one sports writer picked them to go all the way. Too many unknowns, too many oddballs. As it turned out, these writers weren't far off. The Giants had a roller coaster season that took them to the very last game of the season. Unable to clinch the division in the first two games of a three game home stand against the Padres, they finally pushed through and won the final game 3-0. It was at that moment that San Francisco fans started to believe. Long suffering Giants fans were finally rewarded when the Bay Area bad boys defeated the Braves, Phillies and Rangers to Clinch the Series.

Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Barry Zito, and Jonathan Sanchez all had great seasons but none of that would have mattered without Brian Wilson. The amazing, flamboyant Brian Wilson. Neon green shoes. Giant black beard. Ridiculous talent. Wilson converted 48 out of 53 save opportunities making him one of the most feared relievers in the league that year.

And the Giants weren't just about pitching, they were also flush with clutch hitters. Buster Posey, Aubrey Huff, Freddy Sanchez, Juan Uribe and Pablo Sandoval just killed it that year with amazing on-base averages and huge RBI's. Buster Posey had such a great year he was eventually named NL Rookie of the Year.

As a tribute to the 2010 San Francisco Giants and the fans who believed in them, we're now offering for sale our in-house, on-display, one-of-a-kind, San Francisco team signed World Series baseball:

Green Day From Punk Band To Rock Gods

Hard to believe but Green Day has now been an actual band for 24 years! Originally formed in 1987 as punk band Sweet Children in Northern California, Green Day has been an amazing roller coaster of hits and dips on its way to selling an amazing 75 million albums.

Their run of success during the last 10 years started with the album American Idiot which was anchored by the smash hit single American Idiot. And if that wasn't enough, the second single released from American Idiot was Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Green Day has always been a favorite here at Score because of their controversial views on politics, social justice and the power of music. Billie Joe Armstrong one famously said "The only people who should sing about social issues or politics are the ones who aren't full of shit." Hard to argue with that logic.

As our tribute to Green Day and no-bullshit attitudes in general, we are making available for sale our in-house, hanging on the wall, red, Glenn Burton Guitar hand signed by Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Jason White. Its awesome:

Motley Crue The Worlds Most Notorious Band

Hair Metal? Maybe. Heavy Metal? Definitely. Formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, Motley Crue has been on a 30 year juggernaut playing every major venue on the planet and selling more than 80 million albums. Alcohol abuse, drug addiction, jail, and a general lifestyle of hedonism has made them the sex, drugs and rock and roll kings of modern music.

Motley Crue's core group of Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neal are practically household names among even the most casual of music fans. If you've forgotten their early days, check out one of their first big MTV hits "Live Wire" over at Youtube.

Rumor has it that 2014 is going to be their last year touring because of Mick Mars' continuing health problems. Tommy Lee swears he'll never tour with the band again after this and said "The last thing we ever wanna do is go out running on two cylinders with some hired guy playing guitar, thats just whack. So we wanna go out with one big hurrah with the original guys and be done with it."

As our tribute to the ridiculousness and glory of everything Crue, we are now offering for sale our prized in-house MC guitar signed by the entire band (yep, its as cool as it looks):
